This notice transparently describes how Keepo manages user data. The project is non-profit and has no commercial interest in data processing.
What data we collect
For the operation of the service, we collect exclusively:
- Registration data: username, email address and password (encrypted with bcrypt algorithm).
- Congregation data: congregation code, necessary to associate the user with the correct group.
- Service data: activity reports, territory assignments and organizational information voluntarily entered by the user.
- Technical cookies: exclusively for login session management and language preference. We do not use profiling or marketing cookies.
Purpose of processing
The collected data is used solely for:
- Enabling access and authentication to the portal.
- Providing congregation management features (reports, territories, events).
- Sending communications strictly related to the service (e.g. account verification emails).
What we do NOT do
- We do not sell, transfer or share data with third parties.
- We do not use third-party tracking or analytics services.
- We do not display advertising of any kind.
- We do not perform user profiling.

Storage and security
Data is stored on protected servers. Passwords are encrypted with bcrypt algorithm and are never accessible in plain text, not even to system administrators. Login sessions are protected and can be configured to expire automatically.
Data retention
Data is retained for the time necessary to provide the service. Any user can request the deletion of their account and all associated data by contacting the responsible person in their congregation.
